Selection Process

A typical selection day will start off with candidates registering for one of the programmes. After this the candidates go through only two rounds of selection activities:

Round 1: Candidates introduce themselves to a group of 15-20 participants in the presence of an evaluator. Here, the evaluator is checking the candidates grooming, poise and the ability to converse.

Round 2: Short-listed candidates from the first round are invited to a personal interview with a panel comprising of OCLD faculty.

Before you take the next step, ask yourself a few questions:

  • Do I really like to give service to others?
  • Am I keen to develop a wide range of technical and social skills?
  • Am I sure that I can I cope with the hours and conditions?
  • Am I confident that I can handle the training /and study for a degree at the same time?

Am I the right sort of person?

  • Do I have a positive attitude?
  • Do I REALLY like people?
  • Can I communicate confidently?
  • Do I have an outgoing personality?
  • Am I willing to develop the right image?
  • Do I have stamina and energy?
  • Am I looking for a real challenge?
