What is OCER?

The Oberoi Central Employment Register (OCER) is a data bank of talented young people who are interested in a career with The Oberoi Group. OCER is accessed by Corporate Human Resources department to recruit people against vacancies in hotels in India.

How does OCER work ?

If you are found suitable for a position as an Operations Assistant with The Oberoi Group, you will be given a confirmation letter regarding your enrolment in OCER. You will then be asked to give your preference from these four operational departments:

• Food and Beverage (F&B) service operations
• Front Office operations
• Housekeeping Operations
• Kitchen operations

We will also ask for your preferred location but cannot guarantee to meet your preference. If you are selected for any vacancy that may arise, the Corporate Human Resource department will issue a job offer letter to you immediately.

If not, your details will continue to be in the OCER database so that you can be considered for employment in one of the Oberoi Hotels and Resorts or Trident hotels. If at anytime, you decide not to accept any offer of employment with our company, your name will be removed from OCER.
