Kyoto, The First Japanese Restaurant in Madina Serves Sushi, Sashimi, Teppanyaki & Shabu Shabu at The Oberoi, Madina

Madina's first ever Japanese restaurant, Kyoto is a modern, stylish, dining space secluded behind glass doors etched with Japanese cherry blossoms and adorned with large, golden characters of Japanese writing. Guests can sit at window tables that overlook the Prophet's Mosque, at the sushi counter, at a shabu shabu or teppanyaki table, or in a private dining room with a personal teppanyaki chef.

Open for lunch and dinner, Kyoto serves fresh sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki and shabu shabu.

Al Andalus - Indian Fine Dining Restaurant at The Oberoi, Madina

Al Andalus is an Indian fine dining space that pays homage to the country’s Mughal past. Ornamented with a marble floor of complex patterns, painted with traditional Mughal designs, and set with tables placed around columns and under arches, Al Andalus overlooks the Prophet’s Mosque and is brightly lit by natural light and grand chandeliers.

Al Andalus serves classic and modern Indian cuisine.

Step inside the Tea House and back into British history.

Glass cases filled with fresh cakes and pastries gleam with spotlights in this quaint space furnished with crisp, white linen tables, elegant chairs and plush carpets - just like an olde English tea shop. The Tea House also features a semi private seating area, with views of the Prophet’s Mosque.

The Tea House serves high tea, cakes, pastries, sandwiches, Arabic and European-style coffees, and a range of herbal and black teas.

Al Ansar is a 24-hour dining space, painted with Arabic designs, lit by fantastic, traditional glass lights and adorned with faux date trees – the delicious dried fruit for which Madina is famous.

The restaurant serves lavish hot and cold buffets of Arabic, Western and Indian cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and features fresh bread from the in-house bakery, homemade Arabic pickles and rich Arabic desserts.

Al Ansar also has semi-private seating for up to forty people.

The lobby of The Oberoi, Madina is an exquisite space, perfect for socialising with family and friends.

Sparkling from top to bottom with the lights of crystal chandeliers reflecting off immaculate marble floors, the lobby is set with carved wooden chairs and intimate tables.

Able to seat up to sixty people, it is filled with the buzz of lively conversation and fragrant with the aroma of Arabic coffee being enjoyed with dates.
