Policies

Arrival and Departure Policy

Check-In - 1400 Hours Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night.

Check-Out - 1200 Hours Later check-outs are available on request and subject to availability.

Airport Transfers
By a Hotel Luxury Car at Euro 185 per way or by local taxi at Euro 55 per way. Each vehicle can carry a maximum of 3 passengers.We can also organise a private minivan transfer at Euro 145 per way for 6 passengers including luggage.

Guarantee Policy

All bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation by a Credit Card or Travel Agency. All major credit cards are accepted. Full prepayment is required at the time of reservation.

Prepayment policy

As per the hotel policy, we require prepayment at the time of reservation.

A. During our Festive Season between the 27th December, 2016 to the 04th January, 2017

  • A 50% deposit is to be made at the time of booking and remaining 50% is payable upon arrival.
  • A pre-authorisation of the balance amount will be taken on the guest credit card 12

B. For any reservation between 5th January, 2015 and 26th December, 2016

  • A 25% deposit of the entire booking amount is required to be paid at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable upon arrival.
  • A pre-authorisation of the balance amount will be taken on the guest credit card 12 days before the date of arrival.

A duly filled and signed credit card authorization form is required at the time of the booking along with a front as well as back copy of the card and a copy of the your passport. The initial deposit will be charged on the credit card within 48 hours of reservation.

Cancellation Policy

A. For any reservation between 5th January, 2015 and 26th December, 2015

  • For cancellations within 12 days prior to the date of arrival - One night applicable rate.
  • For "No-Shows" a cancellation charge of 3 nights will apply. For stays less than 3 nights cancellation charge of 100% of the applicable rate for the entire period of reservation will apply.

B. For any reservation between 27th December, 2015 and 04th January, 2016

  • For cancellation within 60 days prior to the date of arrival - 100% of the applicable rate for the entire period of reservation.
  • The above cancellation policy is also applicable for any reservation from 27th December, 2015 to 04th January, 2016, even if the arrival or departure dates fall outside the peak season period.

C. For any reservation between 5th January, 2016 and 26th December, 2016

  • For cancellations within 12 days prior to the date of arrival - 25% of the applicable rate for the entire period of reservation will apply.
  • For "No-Shows" a cancellation charge of 3 nights will apply. For stays less than 3 nights cancellation charge of 100% of the applicable rate for the entire period of reservation will apply.

Deposit for Incidentals

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.

Early Departures

Early departures will be charged 100% of applicable room charges for the entire reservation period.

Child Policy

Two children up to 8 years of age can stay in the parent's room without an additional charge. However, a maximum of one child's bed can be placed in a room which will be provided at no additional charge.

  • One child over 8 but less than 12 years can stay in the parent's room. A child's bed is provided at no additional charge.
  • For two children between 8 and 12 years an additional room is necessary.
  • If a child is above 12 years of age, a separate room will be required at the parent's applicable room rate (An extra bed shall not be provided for anyone over 12 years of age).
  • During Peak Season period, Child's bed supplement would apply for children staying in the parent's room.
  • Children below 12 years are not permitted in the bar after 9.00 p.m.

Dress code in the evening

At the Bar and The Restaurant, our dress code during the day is casual and for the evening it is smart casual. Gentlemen are kindly requested to wear in the evening long trousers and shirts with sleeves. Shorts, flip-flops and swimwear may not be worn in The Restaurant and the Main Bar after 6.00 p.m.

Non smoking policy

In accordance to the Public Safety Act issued by the Ministry of Health, all public areas in Mauritius are non-smoking. Hence, smoking is not permitted in our restaurants, bar and lobby. Smoking is also not permitted in rooms. We have placed an ashtray on your terrace for your comfort.
