The Oberoi, Bali offers an exciting selection of sports, excursions, daytrips and activities for both adults and children, all of which will enhance the holiday experience or lead to the attainment of new skills.
All recreational activities outside the hotel are organized by operators certified by the local authorities. These companies are independently operated by third parties which are not part of The Oberoi, Bali.
All activities booked by guests are of their own freewill and at their own risk. The Oberoi, Bali cannot be held responsible for any injury or loss suffered by the guest during participation in any of the following recreational activities.
Daytrips for Adults and Family
Guests can enjoy family days out to some superb animal parks., as well as daytrips to Bali’s magnificent natural and cultural attractions.
These include the spectacular scenery of Mt Batur and its crater lake at Kintamani, the artistic and cultural town of Ubud, and visits to the island’s many remarkable palaces and temples, plus the chance to watch Balinese dance performances or witness a Balinese Hindu temple ceremony.

The hotel has an outdoor, floodlit tennis court. Services of a professional coach are available, one day’s advance notice is required. In the interest of comfort, as the mid-afternoon sun can get very hot, it is best to play tennis in the early morning or evening hours.

Activities for Children
The Oberoi, Bali ensures that the kids have as much fun when they are on holiday as their parents, by offering fully-supervised beach games, sports and a variety of creative educational activities.
Youngsters can explore the colourful Balinese culture through classes in the arts of Balinese dance, Rindik or Gender music. They can even learn how to make a Gamelan Rindik musical instrument.
Art is omnipresent in Bali, almost everyone in Bali is an artist of some sort, so this is a great place for kids to learn and practice their drawing skills.
The beach is the venue for sandcastle building, beach flag, racing and ball games.
