Created as a tribute to beauty traditions of royal Rajasthani splendor. Our signature experience is a harmony of treatments for complete body cleansing, nourishing, detoxifying and pampering. The experience begins with a steam bath to open your pores. A gentle pomegranate exfoliation follows, preparing your skin to soak the elements as you are enveloped with a nourishing blend of pomegranate and orange to moisturize and nourish your skin. Your therapist will then ease away the knots and tension with a relaxing massage using fresh pomegranate oil to improve circulation and energy flow. Your session concludes with a soak in an exquisite bath leaving you detoxified and renewed.

Spirit of Ayurveda 2½ hour

This nurturing treatment takes you beyond relaxation to a pure mind and body connection. A prior Ayurvedic consultation allows for an experience customized to your body type. This treatment begins with an Indian head massage combined with an inhalation therapy using essential oils to assist in opening your breathing passages and bring you into a state of meditation. A vigorous, full body dry exfoliation using herbal powders precedes a rhythmic friction massage with a specific oil blend based on your dosha. A steam therapy will further open your breathing passages and pores to eliminate impurities. This treatment continues with a warm herbal poultice massage to elicit a deep sense of relaxation and transport you to a state of bliss. This treatment utilizes crushed pomegranate crystals as an anti-oxidant along with uplifting essential oil of orange to exfoliate, refine and polish your skin to a natural luster. A soothing pomegranate oil massage follows. A pomegranate mist to rejuvenate your spirit completes this treatment.

Pomegranate Orange Body Envelopment 90 minutes

An anti-oxidant, detoxifying and anti-ageing body wrap repairs, tones and tightens your skin leaving your radiant and relaxed. Your treatment begins with a full body exfoliation followed by an aromatic steam bath opening your pores to benefit from the anti-oxidants pomegranate has to offer. This calming mind and body experience begins with a gentle yet thorough exfoliation of the body, using a blend of sea salt, Hungarian moor mud and capsicum peptide. Once you have rinsed in an aromatic bath, you will receive a soothing massage with a firming body oil infused with sage, rosemary, chamomile, geranium, plum and apricot kernel, the skin is left felling hydrated, soft and silky smooth.

Classic Hungarian Body Wrap 90 minutes

More than an ordinary wrap, this body experience begins with a vigorous yet gentle detoxifying exfoliation using sea salt and mineral-rich Hungarian thermal mud. Designed to leave your complexion rejuvenated and revitalized, this facial begins with a gentle peel, enriched with copper to stimulate collagen production, followed by a unique facial massage to soothe the senses and accelerate micro-circulation. The rose and peony scented mask that follows, plumps the epidermis to reduce the appearance of fine lines leaving you energized with a youthful glow.

Mineral-rich Hungarian moor mud draws out impurities and nourishes the skin. Ayurvedic Treatments

Ayurvedic Traditional Massage 75 minutes

Also known as Abhyanga this detoxifying treatment uses warm herbs infused with Ayurvedic oils chosen according to your dosha. The oils are generously poured over the entire body and then vigorously massaged into the skin. This traditional Indian massage detoxifies your body and revitalizes your spirit. A steam bath is recommended after this massage.

Hot Herbal Poultice Therapy 60 minutes

This therapeutic massage begins with an application of warm oil specific to your dosha. A warm herbal fomentation is applied to relax the muscles while stimulating blood circulation and energy flow. Heat and herbs reduce aches and pains, increase lymphatic drainage and condition the skin leaving you refreshed and relaxed.

Shiroabhyanga 45 minutes

Using Ayurvedic oils, vital points of the shoulder, neck, head and face are massaged to loosen tight muscles and encourage blood circulation. With a special focus on ‘Marma’ points around the head, you will feel an immense calming and balancing effect on the nervous system and throughout the body. This treatment concludes with a mild fomentation leaving you totally relaxed.

Padabhyanga 60 minutes

This Ayurvedic reflexology treatment is an ancient massage for the sole which focuses on the marma points of the feet and lower legs. Padabhyanga promotes quality sleep, increases circulation and energy flow to boost immunity, rejuvenating your entire body. This treatment incorporates the use of a kasa bowl which is warmed and oiled creating a more intense treatment as the metal interacts with the energy force of the body.

Marma Point Therapy 60 minutes

Marma points are energy pathways where the body and mind communicate. Using pure ayurvedic oils according to your dosha, marma point therapy is a cleansing and harmonising treatment. It is a combination of energy balancing along with a subtle stimulation of the marma points. This treatment will leave you with a long lasting sense of calm.

Shirodhara 60 minutes

Shirodhara is an ancient Indian treatment using warm, medicated oils which flow from a specially designed copper vessel. A gentle stream of warm oil is directed onto the third eye which in turn triggers healing, restores balanced health and calms the mind.

Neem Purifying Bath

Since ancient times, neem has been used as an antiseptic and a natural purifier. Soak in a tub filled with warm water and neem tea. A mixture of boiled neem leaves and milk powder provides a mild natural scrub and relaxing therapeutic bath.

Milk and Rose Bath

Drawing from royal recipes, this bath pampers you with the soothing and softening qualities of milk combined with rose water, which tones the skin. Sprinkled with fresh rose petals, the effect of this bath is truly royal.

Marigold Bath

A warm relaxing bath with marigold petals. Marigold has astringent qualities and leaves the skin feeling firm and fresh.

Detox Herbal Bath

This bathing ritual relieves the skin of excess subcutaneous toxins. A warm soak accompanied by a gentle scrub with a herbal powder bag exfoliates dead skin cells.

The Complete Spa Experience

To ensure that your spa experience is a relaxing journey into a different world, we recommend the following:

• Take Time ~ Give yourself plenty of time so you can enjoy the steam and sauna prior to your treatment. This will relax the muscles and aid in the therapeutic benefits of all our treatments and services.
• Shower ~ A quick shower just before your massage or treatment is relaxing and washes off any salts, minerals or chemicals that could clog pores when mixed with oils or other treatment products.
• Treatment Attire ~ You will be given the opportunity to disrobe and cover yourself in privacy. Throughout your treatments, your body will be completely draped. At no time will you be fully exposed.
• Communicate ~ Prior to your treatment, please tell your therapist the areas you would like to focus on and any areas to be avoided. During your treatment, let the therapist know if you feel any discomfort. Communication is the key to getting what you want out of your Oberoi spa experience. Keep in mind that all bodywork is similar to exercise in that, lactic acid and other toxins released from the muscles may cause some soreness for a few days.
• Relax ~ Close your eyes and allow your mind to be free. Breathe deeply and let the tension slip away with each breath. Remember, this time for you.
• Health Matters ~ Please inform us of any health conditions when booking your appointment, for example high blood pressure, heart conditions, allergies or if you are pregnant.
• Home Spa ~ Most of the body and skin care products that we use in our treatments are available for purchase. We encourage you to ask your therapist how to use these products to continue your spa experience at home.

Reservations and Cancellations

All spa treatments can be scheduled or cancelled at the spa. We understand that unavoidable circumstances may arise and cancelling your appointment might be necessary. If you find yourself unable to keep your appointment, please contact the spa within a 4 hour time frame to avoid the full charge of your service.

To ensure that your spa experience is a relaxing journey into a different world, we recommend the following:

• Book your treatment 24 hours in advance in order to ensure availability
• Consult our therapists who will be pleased to advise you on treatments that suit your individual needs
• To fully enjoy the peaceful and tranquil environment of the spa, cellular phones and electronic devices are discouraged
• We suggest the relaxing effect of a shower before your treatment
• For your convenience, we suggest you come to the spa reception 15 minutes prior to your treatment in order to change and prepare yourself. You may, however, wish to come to the spa already wearing the robe provided in your room
• Guests who cancel their spa appointment with less than four hours notice, or do not come for their spa appointment, will be charged for the treatment
• Gentlemen who are having a facial are advised to shave at least 3 hours before their treatment
• Relaxation is essential to the treatment process. It is advisable to book your treatment at a time when you will be able to relax for at least 1 hour after the treatment
• Please note that the spa is a non-smoking area
