Ranthambhore Fort.

Located within Ranthambhore National Park and Tiger Reserve, Ranthambhore Fort dates back to the 10th century CE. As the park was formerly the hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur, the fort was built by them as a hunting lodge and commands a princely position with unrivalled views from its perch, 700 metres above the surrounding forests. One of India’s oldest temples to Lord Ganesha can also be found within the fort. Visited by pilgrims from around the world, this temple was constructed in the 13th century CE. Mesmerising ‘aarti’ prayers by fire are conducted here daily. Note: A UNESCO World Heritage Site
