Once a week at the open-air amphitheatre, surrounded by the flickering light of candles, guests can savour fine cuisine a la carte accompanied by traditional music and authentic 'Sasak' dance performances. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience the colourful culture of Lombok in relaxed yet luxurious surroundings.
The award winning Lumbung Restaurant is an open sided, thatched structure, caressed by the gentle sea breeze and lit by candles at night. Diners can choose from the best of Indonesian, Western and Indian cuisine while enjoying traditional Balinese dance performances in the adjoining courtyard.
Set in the hotel's lush garden, with tables shaded by parasols nestled under lofty palms, the Sunbird Café is a relaxed, al fresco dining space with an outdoor kitchen, whose menu includes Indonesian and Western cuisine. Sunbird Café is open all day from April to October.
Named after the native geckos that can be heard chirruping at night, the centrepiece of the al fresco Tokek Bar is a grand, wooden artefact dotted with brass lizard figurines. Under a thatched roof, or in the open air, guests can enjoy a book or board game over a leisurely cocktail, wine or Lombok coffee.
