The Oberoi Sukhvilas Resort & Spa, Siswan Forest Range, New Chandigarh and Wildflower Hall, Shimla in the Himalayas – An Oberoi Resort featured on the print and digital edition of Financial Times, UK.

In the article titled "King of the hills", Mr. Akash Kapur details his travels to Chandigarh and Shimla. Starting with his experience at Chandigarh, Mr. Kapur highlights that "the city sits at nearly 366 metres above sea level, making it a good acclimatisation stop", adding that "in many ways, Chandigarh is the perfect gateway to Shimla." As for The Oberoi Sukhvilas Resort & Spa, Siswan Forest Range, New Chandigarh, he emphasises that Chandigarh’s "latest luxury hotel, the Oberoi Sukhvilas, is nestled in 8,000 acres of forest in the Himalayan foothills".

Coming to Wildflower Hall, Shimla in the Himalayas – An Oberoi Resort, he points out that "The hotel is a reconstruction of the home of Earl Kitchener, the former commander-in-chief of the British army in India.”Talking about the luxury and ambience, Mr. Kapur adds that “an 85-room hotel whose sloping roofs peer out above the trees, melds the sophistication of a luxury resort with the warmth of a mountain lodge. The hotel’s crowning feature is a large outdoor jacuzzi overlooking terraced fields and, on the horizon, snow-capped peaks. Sitting in that jacuzzi, steam rising into the cold air and clouds sailing gently in and out of distant ranges, it was just about possible to really feel the mountains."
