Wildflower Hall, Shimla in the Himalayas voted India’s leading spa resort for the fourth consecutive year, June 2008

20th June 2008, New Delhi, India: Wildflower Hall, Shimla in the Himalayas - an Oberoi resort has been voted India’s Leading Spa Resort for the fourth consecutive year by travel professionals and discerning travellers across the world. This was announced yesterday at the World Travel Awards 15th Annual Ceremony held in Shanghai. This recognition comes soon after Wildflower Hall, Shimla in the Himalayas was listed as the most romantic destination in the world in Life’s book - "Dream Destinations: 100 of the World's Best Vacations".

Over the years, World Travel Awards have come to be recognised by the travel fraternity as one of the best endorsements that any travel product can receive. To arrive at this year’s winners, more than 167,000 travel professionals in over 200 countries participated in the poll.

In the same poll,Trident, Gurgaon has been voted India’s Leading Hotel and Asia’s Leading Meetings Hotel for the second year in a row.
