Safety & Hygiene

As per Government of Himachal Pradesh’s advisory, vaccinated guests visiting Shimla should present their certificate for both doses. All other guests must present either a negative RTPCR report not older than 72 hours or a negative Rapid Antigen Test not older than 24 hours. Also an e-pass issued by the Government of Himachal Pradesh is required to enter the state.

We regret that our swimming pool and whirlpool will be closed for renovation until 30th November, 2021. Should any of our resident guests wish to swim during this stay period, we will gladly make arrangements for you at our sister hotel: The Oberoi Cecil, Shimla. Return transfers with our compliments.
We are embarking on an exciting refurbishment of our restaurant conservatory and terrace from 1st September to 7th October, 2021. In the interim Lawrence Terrace has been opened for our guests to dine.
Every effort will be made to ensure that the refurbishment activities are as unobtrusive as possible.
We continue to follow the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and in keeping with World Health Organization guidelines, to mitigate the risks associated with the coronavirus.
