Arrival and Departure Policy.

Check-In - 02.00 pm Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night.

Check-Out - 12.00 pm Later check-outs are available on request and subject to availability.

Airport Transfers

By a Hotel Luxury Car at USD 275 per way or by local taxi at USD 65 per way. Each vehicle can carry a maximum of 2 passengers. We can also organise a private minivan transfer at USD 170 per way for 7 passengers including luggage.

Arrival time is 02:00 pm and departure time is 12:00 pm. Early and immediate availability can only be guaranteed by reserving the previous night at applicable room rate.

Late check out until 06:00 pm is available at 50% of the applicable room rate. Departures after 06:00 pm are chargeable at full applicable room rate.

Early departures will be charged 100% of applicable room charges for the entire reservation period.

Guarantee Policy.

All bookings must be guaranteed at the time of reservation by a Credit Card or Travel Agency. All major credit cards are accepted. Full prepayment is required at the time of reservation.

Compulsory Dinner – 31st December, 2024

New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner – USD 550 per person

• New Year’s Eve compulsory dinner rate is the published rate of the hotel and should be prepaid at the time of reservation.
• Children between 3 to 12 years of age will be charged at 50% of the above.
• The above rate is per person and is for food only.
• The above rate is non-commissionable and is inclusive of applicable tax.

All other meals at the hotel are on a la carte basis.

Prepayment Policy.

As per the hotel policy, we require prepayment at the time of reservation.

Bank Transfer:

The payment of advance deposit can be made by bank transfer or payment link. Kindly note bank charges are to be borne by the payer. You are requested to send us a copy of the bank remittance once the payment is done.

Third party payments will be accepted only by bank transfer.

Cash payments (applicable during stay): please be informed as per the Bank of Mauritius Act, cash payments exceeding MUR 500,000 or an equivalent amount in foreign currency are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy.

For "No-Shows" a cancellation charge of 100% of the applicable rate for the entire period of reservation will apply.

Early departures will be charged 100% of applicable room charges for the entire reservation period.

Child Policy.

Only one infant under 4 years' age can be accommodated in the parents' room, with one baby cot at no additional charge. Kindly state your request for baby cot at the time of booking as not all room categories can accommodate an extra bed.

Only one child between 5 years and 12 years’ age can be accommodated in the parents' room, with one extra bed at an additional cost of USD 100 per child per night. Kindly state your request for extra bed at the time of booking as not all room categories can accommodate an extra bed.

For two children between 5 years and 12 years, a separate room will be required at 50% of parent's applicable room rate (subject to adequate availability in the same category).

If a child is above 12 years of age, a separate room will be required at the parent's applicable room rate. (An extra bed shall not be provided for anyone over 12 years of age.)

Meals for children up to 6 years are complimentary (applicable on buffet meals or as per the parent’s meal plan, not on à la carte menu). For children between 6-12 years, a meal is at 50% of the parent’s meal, and for children above 12 years, meal is at full charge.

Nonsmoking policy.

In accordance to the Public Safety Act issued by the Ministry of Health, all public areas in Mauritius are non-smoking. Hence, smoking is not permitted in our restaurants, bar and lobby. Smoking is also not permitted in rooms.Upon request, an ashtray may be placed on your terrace for your comfort.

Spa Policy.

The Oberoi Spa is for the exclusive use of our resident guests only.
