Canyon of Legends

On this journey, you will follow the Ken River to the majestic Raneh Gorge, where crystalline granite in hues of rose, grey and amber plunges into a five-kilometre canyon. Seasonal falls cascade through its depths, their roar or whisper echoing off ancient stone. Here, you will pause for a short meditation by the river’s edge, letting the rhythm of flowing water and the stillness of the gorge restore your spirit.

From there, you continue to the Ken Gharial Sanctuary, a protected haven for rare gharials and vibrant aquatic life. Local lore still recalls a time when the Ken slipped underground in the form of a fish to elude even the Pandavas, a myth that lingers in the mist rising from the gorge. Your experience concludes at Sama, our palace bar, with refreshing cocktails served against the regal backdrop of Rajgarh.
