Surwal Lake is approximately half an hour’s drive from Ranthambore’s best resorts, such as The Oberoi Vanyavilas Wildlife Resort. There is a pleasant walkway between the lake and farms that is best experienced at sunrise, when the birds are waking up. You can expect to see kingfishers, robins, geese, pelicans, egrets, hoopoe and many more.
