Adrian Rohnfelder, a photographer with a keen interest in volcanoes and adventure, shares his extraordinary journey of the Volcanic Seven Summits

Only a handful of people have attempted to climb the “Volcanic Seven Summits” — the continents’ tallest volcanoes and award-winner photographer Adrian Rohnfelder has successfully completed the voyage. Since 2008, when the “firework virus” first struck him in Indonesia, he has remained mesmerised by these glowing giants. His goal is not the volcano summit itself, but the photographs that emerge all along the journey there.
